The Scholarship Committee is comprised of five (5) professional staff that work at different institutions within the state. The Executive Board Treasurer serves as one of the five members on the committee. The Committee is charged with promoting scholarship opportunities to the state and selecting members to receive these scholarships for any professional development opportunity throughout the academic year.
All committee members will serve a 3-year term. Elections will be held at the WIRSA State Conference. If there are no members interested in serving on the committee, current committee members can remain in their position for the following 3-year term.
A chair for the committee will be appointed from within the committee. The appointed chair will be an individual who has served at least one 3-year term.
